Community Service and Engagement
The Career Development Center (CDC) supports civic engagement for individuals, clubs, teams, and academic departments, serving as a liaison to over 40 nonprofit agencies in Saratoga Springs, as well as regional and national organizations. Skidmore students volunteer in various fields, from healthcare and social services to environmental action and the arts, contributing thousands of service hours each year. Additionally, faculty teach more than 20 Applied Civic Engagement (ACE) courses.
Students interested in community service opportunities can arrange for transportation assistance through the CDC to volunteer locations.
